Chris did say that the original 10 acts are more for preference / nostalgia purposes. I don't see how you could have nostalgia of the last year but ok lol... He said the new 7 act story is supposedly faster to get through. If that's the case then I'm obviously doing the new route. If it turns out to not be faster at all (especially when it will be new to everyone) then we will know in the future after it first hits. My main concern is just having too much shit to worry about with all these 6L skill gems. I'm all about simplicity in my build for a game like PoE. I want to jump onto a group of mobs, shred them and move on. I don't think anyone wants to strategize, or worry about 8+ 6L skills in most situations. I mean how are they gonna balance having that much power? How are you going to effectively use that many skills? Most people have a movement skill in one slot and main attack skill in another. These are usually on mouse1 / mouse2 and or a single keyboard key. Having 8 different MAIN skills all over your keyboard doesn't seem like it's gonna work out very well. And even instead switching them out to your main attack key you prefer just seems tedious. I feel like they're trying too hard to make PoE appealing to everyone at this point. Every product that has been targeted to a specific audience and then repeatedly broadened over time usually fails miserably in the long run. I just hope they know what they are doing, because farming out a 6L before lots of other people was always a huge bonus and incentive for new leagues.
this guy still going strong on the peyote
