It's wayyy too easy to get muted in-game or suspended on the forums. You can't even politely argue with someone

And before some fanboi lashes and me and tells me how great the moderation is and how it's 100% my fault for getting muted, let me share my top 4 best mutes that are on top of my head,

#4: I posted in chat about how my character sucked cuz normal Dominus kept raping me, muted for hate speech

#3: we had a conversation about ff13, I referred to the Black dude with guns as "the Black dude with guns", word by word, cuz I couldn't remember his name (Sazh?), muted tor hate speech

#2: I said "hey guys how's it goin' Kripparrian here" in chat, it's Kripp's known introduction and a meme more than anything, muted for whatever reason (impersonation?)

#1: I got muted for hate speech for.... never knew why. I hadn't posted in chat in hours (I had it turned off), I checked the logs.txt file to make sure I wasn't mistaken. Never in the entire day had I posted anything mean or political or controversial. Never gotten a response from the mod. Just randomly recieved a whisper from them telling me I'm muted for hate speech. Not a mute because of a character name cuz those ones last 24h


On the forums now, a guy was being angry at me because I said the word "based" and giving me shit, I told him he was grumpy and to take some fresh air. I got a verbal that if I continued I'd get suspended


The moderation has gone way too SJW and it's turning a lot of people off. The chit-chat in global is an important part of the game's enjoyment for a lot of people

i have problems with ingame names. they dont allow certain things why they dont block them from the start is beyond me.

but yeah if you mention anything race related, no matter how neutral it is, you are fucked. the usual sjw exceptions apply ofc. like calling white people white is okay, but calling black people black is not okay. saying any trigger words like rape is not okay. actually even saying you didnt like someones service and naming a specific reason, also not okay (happened to me, watchers eye dropped and the guy who did the service dropped an identified one, so i posted on the forums that he could have dropped a different one; post removed within minutes for naming and shaming).

if you wanna say something there, you could technically translate the slur with http://slurmachine.fun/ to avoid the moderation, and then post it. observe:

"listen here musiC, i will find you and shove my fat observatioN dick inside your normalisatioN meriT"
