In all honesty u gotta be retarded to get scammed in the trade window. I have no sympathy for those who do.

there was a thread on the subreddit where a guy scammed 1c.

tbh all scams in this game are the fault of the person who was scammed
its so easy not to get scammed.... ggg makes it so simple
forces you to mouse over things to accept so fucking look at it first

as far as services scams only use reputable people, there are dozens of threads online for services with many vouches if you want to be safe

most guilds provide most services lab help elder kills etc (unless ur guild sucks)

i see no reason why anyone should be scammed in this game unless it is born of their own incompetence or simple naivety.

as much as it pains me to agree with poopnose24.
if you get scammed, it's your fault for trusting someone who you shouldn't.
if you are worried about being scammed it's super easy not to be just read the items and don't use anyone who's not a friend/vouched well as a service
also the guy running the service, if legit, will usually be alright with 1/2 and 1/2 or even full payment at end if you're a friend
being scammed is awful but it's almost always on the person who got scammed.
