flying thru maps with winter orb right now, far from dead
the biggest hurt to it was actually warlords mark nerf. (hits any life/MoM caster builds hard)

How do you keep winter orb charged while running? Or don't you?
I briefly put the skill on to try it and charging it seems like it wastes too much time.

The new update was the best ever. Melee is awesome now and with the new skills it's so easy to play through now

speed is slightly lowered on that, but not hugely noticeble
I havn't played WO since it first came out and it was used much differently at that point than it was in the past league, so maybe that is where I am not having any problem with it. It still clears entire screen, just not 2-3 screens. And since you fire faster while channeling its actually more useful to be channeling regularly anyway.
Basically I flame dash 2x - channel, flame dash 2x - channel.. etc. Using garbage gear and a 4 link and clearing through tier 10 maps with ease. Bossing is a lil slower than im used to and there is slightly more 'danger' since you have to channel more often and can't just run constantly.

So far the biggest hurt is the lack of warlord's mark, or any useful means of leeching life/mana.
I gotta try to farm the boot enchant for leech and see if that has any effect, but its a lot less than you were able to get with WM. Most the time mana isn't an issue, but I do run a mana flask just in case.

I guess I'm going perforate on a marauder w/AW backup .


Idk what else to play except maybe cyclone

I wanted to play lacerate but not possible to level with, I ended up with cyclone on slayer (lvl 68 now)
I will go to perforate because i dont want cyclone anymore and I hope once I get starforge and better gear to go ham on att speed and lacerate for endgame
any thoughts on what to choose as slayer? I want to go crit route so that new ascendancy node must have, what to drop for it: bane or brutal

Porferate is pretty garbage in blood mode and its the only mode you can use when you dont have blood and sand.

Ive been using the new static strike to level its pretty badass.

I used that for 15 levels and its gg.
Tempted to try build around it.
