Is this super juicy? Literally never played poe and know nothing about it, but have played d2 since launch. Would I be able to learn enough in an hour to make it worth it to play this?

If you're new in 1 hour all you can learn is how to get to act 2

Rip, welp, im a fast learner so, here I go maybe I can learn how to get to a3, then listen to vids while actually getting to a3.

You'll completely enjoy this game wether or not you're having trouble progressing at the same speed as others.
We usually always tell everyone that their first time will be a mess in terms of character build and that's just part of the game. It's also the most fun part of it that I'm sure many of us wish we could still experience so no worries and just throw yourself in!
