this isn't adding any dmg just converting the dmg

while GGG may classify it as a conversion type effect
it does not convert damage
so in the context of conversation convert and added or gained damage is a significant difference and the way in which we refer to these effects DOES matter so that plays know what they are talking about specifically

this item in the context of a trade or function is NOT conversion weather or not GGG classifies is as that TYPE of effect is irrelevant

It gives you elemental damage with only physical damage, so in a way it is conversion.
But in the common terms used by poe players it is not, and if no one uses it in that way then what is the point in fighting the tide?
