seems poe is using some shitty pseudo random number generator like that middle square algorithm shit or something like that

thats why you either get a bias towards the really small or really large numbers but nothing in between

As if no one has ever 6L in 1500 fuse...
It’s just that you only hear about the “6L ez took 1 fuse” and the “5000 fuse in and still no 5L I’ll just rage quite” posts.

I’ve been playing for a long time and I’ve kept track of my 6L attempts and expenses related to it and I’m at 28 x 6L at an average of about 1350 fuse.

i also kept track ! and my average is about 1200-1300 fuses for a 6l, but the problem is that i veeery rarely get anything from 200 to 2000 i either 6l in 10 fuses or i spend 2000 and dont get shit

Not true. Linked a lot. Lowest around 40. but most of them in mid range 600 - 900. Most spend is on a shavronne around 2300.
At the end self linking is cheaper as buying it.

not true FOR YOU. thats the point of statistics, it doesnt apply to everyone, but it applies to enough cases to be useful for prediction

i mean my sample is kinda small too (just me and a couple friends) so i didnt make any conclusions, thats why i said "seems that..." but the same as i cant say that its true, you cant say its not true, as a general rule i mean

The player base of PoE is high enough to let it work this way.
And for you? Work with high numbers and it works for you too.
But you have to show guts to make it come true.
