It started a while ago tbh. The game early-on was pushing boundaries and bringing innovations to the genre. Now it just seems lazy, throw some powercreep item mods behind some content requiring clear speed, bright colours, explosions, repeat

Decaying memories yield Fractured Items with broken mods that are locked in place. While these are not generally useful as-is, you'll find occasional Fractured Items that have excellent locked mods, resulting in much easier crafting

So get some t1 broken mod, and you get to chaos spam it free til fg ez

It has to be capped resist. Un-capped would be insanely OP. Though, capped would make it crap.
