the hell, get an ssd. They're dirt cheap now. Its down to like $1 per 10 gigs. At the very least check newegg during christmas sales.

if ur mapping slow as shit bad then ye it doesnt matter but if ur slammin through maps in 1-2 mins hdd load times add up to a looot
