then again, in my dive to depths 600 I saw some truly bizarre and long hidden paths, so it might be worth checking that question marked one just in case.

The north wasn't taken up on that node so yeah not unexpected.

man maybe I am misinformed on how the connection works
I thought they can only have 1,3, or 4 visible connections
I guess I was under the impression that only nodes with 2 visible connections can connect to hidden paths...

The ones with just 2 visible paths are just the most likely to have a hidden path.
