current animations and charactermodels are from 2006.
the new ones will be current tech and they will update all item skins for it.

also they remove dx9 support which means they will probably update the engine by a lot

edit: they also said that 4.0 was supposed to be make poe able to compete with d4 (they expected it to get announced on blizzcon )

I got used to instant leech, tried the abyss league without it, and resigned. Maybe if I find some solid build that's similar to "signal shot" I'd be willing to come back, but right now I'm gonna pass.

Elemental hit is pretty much the same thing.

I actually made a build around it once, spent a lot of currency on it, and it was working, nothing spectacular tho.

They made it so you get jewels that limit your elemental type, so you can scale it to millions or rag in it for a million dps.
