I use a microphone on a stand and some speakers, I hate headphones after a long time so I gave myself a choice of how to do it. Can always look into that. My mic is a hyperx solo cast (was around 45 bucks and stand for desk which it comes with it's own but is pretty simple was less than 20 bucks)

I mostly bought it because I had purchased a midi keyboard to make music and it just happened to work well for that too. I always had hyperx headsets so I figured it was a good bet for lower end. Most friends who have the same pay like 200-300 for theirs, I'm not dropping that to talk when I am fine being quiet lol
Speakers I have is just some cheaper logitech, nothing fancy

200-300 is kinda out of my price range and speakers i actually already have, its some massive, pre 90s speakers that are like 1m high

Yeah I won't spend that much either since I don't care to talk to people that much online lol

yeee ! also all the chinese crap seems to be somehow set to stop working the exact day the warranty wears off

I buy most things from amazon and get a warranty long enough that I know I'll replace it even if it is still good by then lol
