If you have generally a poor experience dealing with a particular group of people, it’s ok to say “no thanks, you can fuck off.”

For specific gems, you will have to search them to see when you gain access to them. Some classes may not have the option to buy a certain gem as early as others. Usually build guides will have details on where/when to pick up the new gems. As you progress through the campaign, you will get access to a lot more gems. Additionally, some of the more powerful gems are "drop only" meaning you cannot buy them from a vendor. You can search the gem on POE wiki. there's usually an acquisition section that tells you how to get the gem.

If you finish the game, you can buy gems and put them in your stash so your new char can grab them.

Ascendancy is done by completing the trials during the campaign. check out https://pathofexile.fandom.com/wiki/The_Lord%27s_Labyrinth for more details

to answer your questions -

you probably havent done the required quest to unlock the gems even though your level may be sufficient.

once you unlock lily you can buy all gems from your hideout.

ascendancies are obtained by completing labyrinths. for your first time you will need to complete every trail of ascendancy to unlock the required difficulty (normal/cruyel etc).

you will need to complete labyrinths on every new character to unlock their ascendancy. this also counts if you wish to change ascendancy later on. min lvl for first ascendancy is probs late 2x or early 3x. hf

ty, i played to a4 and found all out myself already but ty. atleast one jspler who isnt a idiot lol
