POE2 will very much be nothing more than an expansion with some UI changes, environmental effects, maybe a slight graphics overhaul.

They have even said there will be a shared end-game so you can still play with the original POE characters... so yeah. It's going to be 7 new acts to play through and then you hit end game

I'll probably check it out just to see how it is. All my MTX/stash tabs/etc are on my PoE 1 account though, so I'll probably end up gravitating back to PoE 1 unless it's completely amazing or something.

Poe1 = poe2 ....its not a "seperate" game, all your chars and items will still be there!
