In D2, after a few years you "master" the game. You recognize any unique as soon as it drops, know the mechanics, skills, formulae etc etc. And the game is fun bcoz of that. You'd never get there with PoE.
This isnt exactly true mate, ive got 11k hours of PoE under my belt. The fact that new content is always added is what keeps players in. I also know drops by name, at least the ones worth something. PoE players will prolly play this until PoE2 is released simply because PoE2 will more than likely have its own section on this forum, wich simply makes D2R excellent at stacking FG for this purpose.
