Is this frowned upon by GGG or am I allowed to sell a character name on their official forum?

easy to scam for it, so i assume ggg doesnt allow, or at least like it maybe better to sell here for fgs and then just buy exalts for those fgs ?

have had a guy pming me for years for a name

it's just as legit as trading via jsp

couldnt you just jack up the price and sell it to him ?

1. i don't want to delete a 100 character
2. i don't do illegal activities

but yeah i've thought about it cause just about every 6 months he messages me for the name hoping i will change my mind

see, you have thought about it ! after all, who cares if its legal if no one gets hurt ? you can chain poorjoys or breachstones (or whatever people do these days) and get lvl 100 in a day anyway and then spend the fgs buying naked pics from majini, which is what i may or may not have done

Whatever trade you can complete using only the trade window is legit and safe.

Yes you can trade names on Poe. I believe jsp allows this, or at least you can create a post stating you're selling names.

There are risks, but its not like there are name bots on poe like there are on d2. You can safely delete/create names. I don't want to say there's no risk, but its a pretty small risk.
