I'm 4 days into the game, and I've pretty much completely stopped picking up any rares since ~act 9 i'm now at t10ish maps.

Does anyone have a list of good base stuff that I should be picking up? cba bringing everythign back to encampment iding it all looking at all the stats, rather spend time farming.

Something like

Vaal regalia ilvl 86 with whatever that star influence is that gives spell crit %

just something like that, or does my loot filter (filterblade) know stuff like that, and will likely highlight really good base rares like that in a special way?

the loot filter can do that but you might have to add your own custom entry for that specific use case (but filterblade should highlight that with a yellow star from memory)

pretty much if the base isn't ilvl 83+ it's probably not worth much outside really narrow use cases

ahh ok, ilvl 83 stuff isn't dropping for me yet, but when it does i still don't wanna be picking up every ilvl 83 piece of equip.

what's max ilvl on an item?

anyone got any tips for essences? got a full stash tab of them that i'd like to get rid of

you can combine 3 of one essence to get an essence of a higher tier. If you don't have the essence stash tab, its probably a good idea to do that or your stash will get filled by them very quickly. you can look at values of items easily on poe.ninja website

I've moved into t14-t16 maps now, but some times i just run into a bad mob or one of those delirium spiky blow up guys gets ontop of me and it's game over, been trying to buff up my defences to not get 1 shot so often, any tips?

Looking to spend maybe ~1ex per upgrade, I know staff is really shit, but my dps is fine and i just wanan focus on not dying so much.

i'm at 5k hp 2.8k es max resists, and a single one blowing up on top of me is death XD
