There was some much scams based on trade window or services, now GGG is banning if a video (clear proof) is send to their support.

Got myself scammed few times buying services for challenges, on trade 820, not a big deal, some time lost.
All trade window attempts failed, happened 2-3 times; for 6L chest and corrupted gems mostly.
Few times i experienced bad kids vaaling the item just before trading it

well its not that good news for us because technically someone could do the same to us, i mean record us and then report for "rmt", or even worse, blackmail us

thats why when i trade with people from jsp im like "hows it going brotherrrr?", "i got some free for you men", "heres some n1 itamy for you" etc

Time to make a new account on poe and msg you "yooooo furdtarmer, u from jsp right? Can I buy some gear from you I'm dual welding credit cards"

Im agree i guess it's becoming much more dangerous to sell or buy with d2jsp forum gold now, since there's dedicated resources in their support.
100% safe solution is to have a secondary IP or dynamic IP for d2jsp, taking care when transferring from/to the main account (dropping items/currency one the ground in a public game ?), and probably to use 2 xPCs or 1 VM... GL with this shit.

The system is ripe for abuse and will lead to people making a trade [even if you put an item in the trade, normally a worthless item goes in for hundreds of ex or more.] than reporting the person for scamming after getting their fg.

No photoshopping required. Trade lightly my dudes.

I couldn't even push myself to scam in d2 cause it felt so wrong and people scamming for 1 chaos orb in poe lmao.

It's not 1c, service scamming on 820 was probably dozens of exalts per day. It was a scamming fest.



Pretty hard to create a "false" video and ggg can also check character's inventory, history/logs...
Risking to be caught and banned yourself for trying to frame someone.
