I tried to do it with level scaling and i died every time. I was a level 79 dying in the first tier of the mines with my level 14 friend. Is there some kind of trick to doing it or do I just need to be GFG?

Upgrade darkness resistance.

Im fairly sure that power scaling simply takes all of your passive and gear power and takes a percentage chunk out of it. So if your doing t13 maps no problem you shouldnet be dying in the mines until d-100 at least to anything but darkness.



I find early on that maxing out cart light radius is far more important as long as darkness resist is above 0. If he isent even at d-70 yet he needs that light radius.

Also you would need your friend to be at least level 30 or so to get any sort of good exp from the mines since monster level starts at 34.

Normally you rush through to A4, go back to prime leveling areas in A1-3 then just boost to 30 before stepping foot into the mines.
You'll be killing things slower than you're used to with the down scaling but you shouldn't be dying at all in low level mines.

The game was downscaling me to level 14 that is why I was dying, but once I got my friend to level 29 and started delving it became a cake walk. Got him to 45 in about 2 hours. Would have probably been an hour , but he is brand new and kept asking questions and fucking around.

why do you powerlevel a guy who is brand new to the game? he will have absolutely 0 fun and stop playing after like 2 days lmao
