Most people on hc want to sell their items instead of ignoring you because the item base never deteriorates.

I recommend using the path of exile trade instead of poe.trade as it is much more accurate and up-to-date.

Certain items, especially currency, you will always find a lot of price fixing so its not entirely uncommon. Also depending on how many you are looking to buy it might not be worth the seller's effort to bother with your offer.
