Home today from season opening etc.
Played saturday+sunday.

Great feeling in my body, hitting the ball better then I have ever done before.
Anyhow, bad "headday" the first day. Never made up my mind about what shot I wanted to hit. If it was supposed to be a draw or a fade etc and it ended up with me standing insecure over the ball. I started with hitting my drive on the first hole like 100metres max. After that I never really recovered the first 9 and I just made bad decision after bad decision. I guess thats what can happen on the years first competition.
Anyhow, ended up +9 the first 9, but came back with birde+birde on 11 and 12. Three bad bogeys and one more birdie the last nine resulted in 45+36 and a 81.

Next day I'm going out with a good feeling in my body again but this time I made up my mind about how I was supposed to hit the ball. Birde 2nd, birde 4th, bogey 5th and another biridie on the 8th.
Rounded first 9 -2 and was very pleased with my game. Spinned around the cup on 10th, 12th and 13th for birdie. All puts that could have been in. Instead of -5 after 13 I'm -2 and makes bogey on 14+15th.
On par and not as happy as before. Gets it up like 4meters from the pin on 16 and 17th, and 2meters on the 18. No birdie tho and ended up +2 on the last 9.

81-72 and I'm happy with my start, considering I'm +9 the first 9, and even on the last 27.
(Advanced from ~70? to 30th)

Did you guys start ur season yet?

My home course opened Friday! I'm heading out tomorrow.

I have survived the winter and have an incredible itch to golf right now. So jealous you got out.

I've been working with my swing coach all winter, I have never been this confident going into a season. Will share how my round goes

Ah, cool!
My home course opened maybe last thursday I believe.

Been working this winter aswell. Finally feels confident to hit both a draw and a fade. Never felt this good over the ball tbh, can do what I want with it.
Just have to practice alot now and this might get good (:

Awesome stuff man, good to see so early in the season. Keep up the good work.

I was out at my local country club last Monday for one round, shot 45-40 = 85. Was my first time out in the local area. We did manage to hit up Myrtle Beach, SC for 4 days during the first week of April. Greens down there are smooth let me tell ya! Had a great time, still rusty from the long winter, but you'll have that. It's nice to hit some nice shots to re-gain that mental factor.

Looking to get back to last years numbers, 38-40/per 9 consistently. It's all about the putting for me. I can crush the ball off the tee, my high irons are solid...just got to sink the 10-20 footers more often. Can't complain with pars, but birdies is what wins tournaments.

Cheers.

Yeah well I'm out of school and I still cannot find time to practice. Busy life!

I guess if I really wanted to practice I could, but I'd rather play 18 with 18 beers! Now that's golfing!
