I've been playing significantly better golf lately and consistently at that.
For kicks I went to local store and tried out some tour blades on the range. Some were better than others of course. The Taylor made MC seemed to work the best for me.
However, I hit them nearly the exact same as my Adams tight lies. If I am hitting them the same ...how can I justify a 8-1000 purchase lol. I'm not going to buy tour clubs but I was wondering:
What should I be looking for differece wise ?
Why would I want a tour blade over another set?
What does it mean if there is no difference distance/placement wise?

Its probably my lacking skill set but why would I want tours over my current?

Off center shoots will be felt more and the ball won't go as far as with cavity backs.
Also slices and hooks will be more drastic.

More spin and control of your fades and draws.

If you are hitting that draw or fade on purpose

Well of course... If you're not able to control these sorts of things, then you shouldn't be using blades lol

i got a few sets of tour blades...for me even when i wasn't that good I liked them better...In my opinion they feel sooo much better and give me a lot more confidence. I also like the way they look over the ball

...if the results are the same you should worry more about getting the correct shafts and the loft and lie angle of each club .

i play blades, but after this set i will be going with cavity backs.

no tour players use blades anymore, just tiger really. theres honestly no advantage to using them anymore with the new technology out there. cavity/blade combo is my suggestion
