I haven't played much golf the last 2 years and now I've got this awful slice whenever I play.
Legitimately almost every shot regardless of the club slices real bad.

If anyone has any pointers, tips, or drills that could help me eliminate the slice I would be very appreciative because my slice is the only thing holding me back from playing a lot and being a decent golfer.

Thanks in advance

any chance of getting a video of your swing?

There are multiple things that can cause a slice. So its kinda hard to help

Well, as above, try to get us a video.

Kinda obv tho, u come from outside in, cutting the ball.
Just drop it down closer ur body, try to hold like a glove or something below ur left arm to make sure u stay tight.

there are only 2 things that effect the flight of the ball.

1. Swing path
2. Club face angle at impact

club face angle is the most important of the 2. so more than likely you need to square your clubface better.

Well, if it's such a horrible slice he have to come outside in.
Clubface compared to the swingpath.
In my opinion, just practice draws, drop the club closer to your body.

for me this came down to my grip. if you're right handed, your left thumb and pointer finger should make a "V" that point to your right shoulder while your right thumb should go straight down the club or slightly on the left side. changing your grip can feel uncomfortable but with time that will fade. also make sure you are gripping the club like an egg. you don't want to grip it as hard as posisble, but well enough that it doesn't twist in your hand.

btw. this is in relation to the club face angle at impact that mikob brought up. this is what will allow you to bring the club through at the proper angle.

youtube can also be a GREAT tool for golf tips.

...the most basic drill to correct the slice is as follows -

assuming you are a righty ...go to your local driving range and...

...make sure you are aligned to hit the ball straight with your feet , hips and shoulders

...your only swing thought is now going to be to hit the ball as far to rightfield as you possibly can

...this will force you to swing inside out instead of outside in

...the further you try to force the ball to rightfield the straighter you will hit it

...keep checking that you are still aligned straight and keep pounding it to rightfield

...and make sure you do this next time you're on the course even if it feels like you are going to hit it into the woods or the water or whatever

I have a terrible slice as well.. I just started playing 2010, first time was on Father's Day..
Since then I've gone to the launch 2-3 times before the next Father's day, I have continued to do so until now but the slice is still there...

I've tried many things and what's confusing is I can use the irons with ease ( sometime I wish I could leave the drivers at home )
Also I'm a lefty playing hockey yet I bat and golf right.

So eventually I just stand facing away from the direction I slice but it's pretty daum awful when you slice the ball onto the other hole.

...try what I suggested in post #7 and until you straighten out your swing leaving at least the driver back at home will save you countless strokes . Most high handicappers actually hit the 3 wood further than the driver .
