I started golfing last year, and have been using a pretty run down pair of Footjoy's. They are uncomfortable as sin, and I really don't like that traditional golf shoe look. I'm looking to buy more of a casual golf shoe.

Thing is, I have no idea about whats good and whats not. Can I get some advice from the golf forum about what shoes I should get? Bring, model, etc?

I want them to be comfortable, casual, soft spike, size 13, and more of a tennis shoe look than a old footjoy look, like I said, casual.

If I need to provide more info, let me know.

Price is NOT an issue. But let's try to keep it under $200 ;)

Thank you!

Adidas, best pair of golf shoes I've owned

Model depends on how much you're looking to spend, but I use the Adipure

Nice. Only problem is.... the style I liked... both styles... don't come in 13's! :(

Which brings me to another question... do golf shoes typically run big or small when shoe size is concerned? Or does that depend on the manufacture?

I'm size 12, I didnt think finding 13 would be a problem. Try a new pair of Fj's, I hear they are comfy

I wear a 9 in Footjoy and a 9.5 in Nike. Addidas run narrow, if you need a wids shoe you probably wont like them. Footjoy Contour is the best selling shoe year after year ($100). I dont think they really have the look you want though. Nike is coming out with a new shoe this year, called the Nike Dunk ($120). looks like a basketball shoe, pretty sweet but maybe a little heavy. I saw a picture of the new Oakley shoe, it looked awesome but im not sure about price. Ill see if I can find a link for you

the bottom link has some Oakleys, but they arent the ones I saw. Maybe they have yet to be released.

here we go, the Oakley Cipher

Footjoy Icon Myjoys and one pair of the shoes clark had when he won. They are heavy as hell but damn I love them.

Enjoyed with both of my pairs.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Right now, I'm leaning towards: http://shop.golf.com/product/shoe.aspx?sku=1016556-acp&clr=1034-12-69&gd=1

Golf Galaxy didn't have them in 13's, but apperently golf.com does! (I think?)

Good man! I use the black with white stripes. Just a heads up, for the first 3 weeks walking the course I got some blisters on the sides of my feet around the ankle, but that problem didn't last long, and they form to your feet magically. They are sexy/comfortable as hell now

Yeah, I read another review that said it had some out of the box discomfort, but that it didn't last long.

I'm excited to get these babys!
