Should I get this done to my clubs?

Right now I use Adams CB2 Tour irons currently with KBS Tour 90 Steel shafts with a mid bend point.

I want to get my shafts changed for these:

http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_FS0022

Basically a similar shaft with a black finish. (Steel of course)

I have done some pricing and to get my clubs re-shafted + re-gripped it's going to come up to around 450$

This is the thing, I have NO problems with my current shafts, I just want to have this done because for anyone who doesn't know, Adams CB2 Tours have a black finish, and having a black shaft would be sexy as fuck.

Going on this, should I get it done? I have the money for it.

And with the use of my optimal Microsoft paint technology skills I bring to you a preview of how sexy it will look with the new shafts.

Basically this is just to modify the look of my clubs to increase their sexiness. Think it's worth it? And could this somehow hurt my game?

ALSO, can anyone recommend a grip from this site?

Comfort and grip are the most important things, but I will be looking for a red/black style to make my clubs 10x more sexy. If I can't find one then so be it. I just want to add some flare to my clubs while keeping them at maximum performance. BUT I won't sacrifice performance for style.

Already leaning towards Winn and UST as these are grips I've used in the past, but the UST only last 1 season as they wear out quickly. Anyone have any pointers or grips that they can recommend?
The 450$ I priced included grips already, but that number may increase to about 500$ if I go with a more expensive grip.

I like soft grips, need something somewhat durable and something which can handle moist conditions. Remember it's for irons

well, i wouldnt get them re-shafted.

The Adams CB2 irons are not the most expensive. I just checked on E-bay and they are selling full sets for $500 or less. Im sure you could find a set on there with the KBS Black shafts. If you go that route, you would have 2 sets of irons for the price of the reshaft you were going to get.

Winn grips are probably the best for all-weather, but most of the players I know just use whatever grip and rely on gloves to get good grip in wet conditions. The footjoy rainflex are the best for rain, about $20 a pair. The best selling grips at my shop are the Golf Pride VDR grip, and they come in 4 different sweet colors.

PM'd you about it, but gonna post it here so other people can know what's going on if they wanted to throw out an opinion.

As I am a lefty, finding a set of CB2's with the black shafts will be near impossible, as they are not available through Adams, so I would have to find someone who has re-shafted their set and is now selling, and they must be a lefty. Chances are slim to none, and then there's the condition, I take very good care of my clubs and know the condition, I am really not able to know the condition of the club face on their irons.

As for grips, I think since I do own a good glove, wet conditions won't be a HUGE problem, so it won't be too much of a problem to use a stylish grip.

I think I found my grips, gonna go with Black/Orange or Dark blue. They have great reviews online

Another 5 seasons at least, at the end of next season I will begin having my grooves sharpened at the end of each season.

And I agree, Black/Orange grip with the black shafts and head would be sexy as fuck.

Taken out of context this can be the gayest thing I've ever said.

Would be sexy, if you plan to keep the clubs I would say go for it ^^

As for the grips, dont go for anything that goes better in rain. Golfpride got some simple good looking grips. Check it out, thats what I always get.

In my bag I always keeps ~5extra gloves, if it would rain. Raingloves, usefull as fuck. Needed if you play competitions over 18holes, to switch between the rounds (:

Yeah I'm gonna go with grips that are sexy/durable and somewhat soft. It wasn't a huge deal about performing in the rain, I just don't want grips which are complete shit when a little bit wet
