I live in Houston, and i play 7 days a week no matter what season :)

But i used to live in the north, and 2x a week i would go to the indoor range, or the out door heated range, because the worst thing you can do in the off season is not pick up a club. You have to keep your game fresh, so you can hit the ground running at the start of the next season.

I play maybe 4 times a month, weather permitting. Usually with family though.

one really simple offseason tip is to get yourself a putting mat, you can buy these at most any sporting goods store. Try to practice a little everyday!

Putting things to practice:

Alignment

make sure you are lined up square to the target, feet, shoulders and putter face

Stroke Path

make sure that putter head goes straight back and straight through, keep your arms straight it helps a ton

What are some good golf workouts for someone at home with only barbells, a bench, squat stand, and trend mill :)

I need to put myself together a winter workout routine to really get into good golf shape for next summer. I really want to hit the ground running come spring.
