1 mph of swing speed increase = 1.5mph of ball velocity increase = 3 yards of carry distance increase.
120->180x3=580/1.5=360
with that being said, 120 -> 1.5 = 360.. Granted this is with perfect conditions retaining the swing and contact. Wind can factor in a huge amount of distance - or +. and this equation is only Carry, so add in some roll assuming the ball isn't plugin. also, add in humidity and altitude.
I take offence to people when they state their childish, dumb ass opinion. So if you're going to tell me i can't hit the ball 450 yards you're clearly a fucking moron because I've done it in practice with standard drivers 100s of times checked by 3 different rangefinders. I practice long drive for 3 hours a day and have made 1000's of dollars doing it. I have never hit a 450 yard drive in competition but I've done it in practice. and in scrambles.
