I doubt some of the ranges these kids claim to hit, but why would you not believe someone like myself can hit 300?

Longest I hit at a virtual range (inside Golf Town, trying the new Rocket Ballz driver) was 282 yards.
With my current driver on the course with a good roll, I probably hit about 240-250 on a good hit.
