it's not how many times you win, it's what you win. Once upon a time he won all 4 majors consecutively, not in a single year, but consecutively. He has a long ways to go before he's playing at that level again. Still great to see Tiger playing so well. Golf is much more exciting with these Guan, Woods, Couples, McIlroy stories.
I don't really think he has a "long way" to go, honestly. If he can pick up these 4 strokes today and post -6 or -7 under, he probably has his 5th green jacket. Today is a BIG day for Tiger and his major quest. The course is in great condition and scores are out there. I wouldn't be surprised to see some guys at -1 and -2 post -5 and/or -6 scores and be sitting in the clubhouse.
Either way, this topic is about Tiger. He's back to #1 and I don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon. Rory is having a difficult year, very sad to see him playing the way he did yesterday.
