those markers arent that accurate, especially when you're far left or far right.
its always an approximate without any caddy / tool (such as GPS or rangefinder)
you shoot the pin and get the EXACT yardage. You save lots of shots with that.
Several times i had estimated my shot to like lets say 150 yards, then a buddy of mine with a rangefinder tell me its 140. Thats basically 1 club down.
