FUCK. Brutal day. Bogey on 18 cost me ALOT of money. So down on myself right now. Time for a long lonely drive back home.

If anyone is wondering. I played a +1 73 and a par on 18 would have gotten me 9% of 40,000.

So basically 3,600$ slipped away

OK so... I got my uncle coming to visit for 2 weeks from overseas.
He'll be here on Thursday and the golf begins. I have taken a couple lessons to make adjustments to my swing and the range is beautiful but for some reason, no matter how hard I concentrate, I can't take it to the course. It's pretty frustrating. I have a half a week to practice as hard as I can.
Any ideas on methods to making swing changes stick???
On a plus note... My short game is sharp. Pitching, chips, putting all on the money.

Not really. The thing with the swing is that you cant really change it over some days.
I work the whole winter with different swing changes and still notice at the summer that its not completly done.
Just keep practicing man.

Out to the golf course now, cu (:

Whats ur hcp?
76 is good, always. Doesnt matter course or hcp, well played! (specially on that course ofc) (:

6255 meters.
I played some courses at 6400meters, those are tough :D
I like it like that, when u actually got a good drive and middle/long iron on some of the par 4's (:

i am a 10 hcp

long hitter, good irons, usually putting is the issue

but last friday putting was there, so heh! helped a LOT. These putts below 8 feet were like gimmes for me lol

Ah confidence...yunoalwaysthere?

yea i played some courses over 7100 yards, par 3s were all over 180 yards and par 4's over 420

one par 4 was, if i recall correctly, 475 yards...

u hit a solid 300 yards drive, then u still have a 6 iron...not the same as a 56 degrees wedge lol

Yeah, I played a 7200 before. 210 yards par 3, 600 yards par 5. Like shit it was tough. Miss a fairway under the trees or something, it's nearly impossible to scramble for par.

Shot at 46 today, which was amazing for me, at the hardest course I've played on so far (the one I work at and I've heard from many others that it is either the hardest or one of the hardest around my area) so I'm extremely happy. I usually shoot in the mid 50s so this was a huge improvement. I'm definitely liking the new clubs as well because yesterday I shot a 98 after my first 18 with them.

Can't wait to improve my handicap :D

Under 100 for a new golfer is a quick learner for sure. Must be a Sabres fan
