@MeatStick101: Quick question for you. You have a 5 Wood and then go to a 4 Iron. How's your distance gap between those two clubs? I'm thinking about that same set-up, starting my irons at 4 iron, but I'm wondering if there will be too big a gap in distance between the 5-wood and 4-iron? What's your experience?

My 5 wood hits 230ish and my 4 iron maxes out around 210.

Then my 3 wood hits around 250-260 and Driver hits 300-310 on average.

I like option number one for you, unless you really love a 3 iron

You guys don't feel that's an issue then? Transitioning from a 5-wood to a 4-Iron? I probably won't get the 3-Iron, and just go 4-P + Gap for my iron set. Only thing I'm overthinking right now is that 5-Wood to 4-Iron gap. But that might be exactly it, just overthinking.... It's a big purchase, just want to make sure I get it right.

Anyways, I bought my 3 wood yesterday.

So now I have:
R11 Driver, 3-wood, 5-wood
Scotty Cameron Putter

Now all I need is:
Iron Set
Wedges

Must get my tax reutrn!!!

Well, I lobbed my whole life with my 56 degree. I lob better then the most with my 56, when they got a 60.
My 56 will still be used way more often, the 62will be picked up when I really have to hit it straight up in the air, which aint very often. I plan to hit the green this year ;)

But I agree, 60would be better. But I think this will work for one season xD

A 62 is useless unless you're shooting up a steep slope. At least a 60 can be used from like 50 yards in.

Sure you can use a 62 as well, but why would you want that extra loft for nothing?

the highest wedge I carry is 58 degrees, I can hit it 100yards and anything less than that I vary the yardage with my backswing

Exactly, a 60 is pushing it, I hardly ever use my 60, I would rather use my 56 because it's more reliable.

I can only imagine how tough it is to judge spin/distance with a 62.
