Putting is something that you can do during the offseason to really sharpen your game. Almost every store that has a sporting goods section sells putting mats. Some have auto ball return on them, so you get them to come back to you everytime.
good advice, those mats will really help your stroke, I wouldnt recommend putting on them that often after you develop a putting stroke that you feel is consistent, purely because most of them are much slower then average greens.
I putted on one of these when I changed my putter a while back, and it totally messed up my speed for abit, but I was putting for a few hours a day on it.
Also my advice : KEEP UR HEAD DOWN. WITH PUTTER AND FULL SWING, IF YOU LOOK UP YOU WILL SEE A BAD SHOT. I usually keep my head looking at the ground or my divot for about 1 or so seconds before I look where its headed. Really try and make this a habit, try to not even think about keeping your head down. Ask any golfer and this is the one of the first things that they will tell you to do. it sounds easy, but takes years to truly master.
