I think you guys are underestimating the influence and contribution of a caddie on the pro level (PGA).
You do know a caddie can save a golfer multiple strokes per round by there suggestions, which the players usually have trust in the caddie to follow. For example when he told Adam Scott, "Remember this ball breaks more to the right than it looks." Adam Scott played the break more due to his caddies suggestion and nailed the put.
A caddie can win or lose a PGA tournament for a pro golfer. It's almost as if it's a team game out there.
That being said, I understand some of the commotion here, as he probably should of said something of the lines of: "This was the best win I've ever been a part of."
