Welcome!
This will be a game for the 2012 PGA Championship.
Make sure you read all of the rules to avoid confusion.

This is a change to the usual game.

There is a 50fg buy-in to play.
There is no refunds for this, if you decide to resign from the game, your fg will be used as entry for another user.

GAME RULES
The rules are simple.
This will be a change of the usual draft 3 format.
Every participant is to PM me 5 players, and 1 spare in-case of injury or withdrawal before the START of the tournament.
If you post your picks in the thread you will be disqualified.
*Make sure it's clear between team picks, and spare. (Number them 1-6 in-order of priority)*

IF 2 people are to send the same 5 choices, the first player to send their picks will be given priority, and the 2nd player will use his spare.

The person with the lowest cumulative FINAL scores wins.
(Example. Phil -5, Tiger -1, Fowler +5. The Cumulative score will be -1)
Anyone who selects a golfer who does not make the cut, is served a penalty of +15 to their score. (It does not add to their players score)
The maximum score cap will be +10, for anyone who makes the cut. (if they shoot +20 on the weekend, the player will be as though they shot +10.)

I will be using the official PGA scores to tally the results.

If your player is injured or withdraws DURING the tournament and does not finish, you will be given an automatic +15 penalty to your final score.
(Spare players are irrelevant after the opening tee off.)

It is NOT my responsibility to make sure you select a golfer who is in the field.
If you select a golfer who is injured or not in the field, you will be served the same penalty as one who did not make the cut. (+15)

*Back-up players are not in-play once the tournament has begun*

DEADLINES
The deadline to buy-in will be AUGUST 8 at 11PM est.

PAYOUTS
The top 3 will be paid as follows:
1st: 70%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 10%

Unfortunately, there will be no 500fg donation to the person who picks the winner, as there may be multiple participants who select the winning player.

WELCHERS/BLACKLIST cannot take part.
Any fg received from you will be a donation to the pot.

Hopefully we get a strong group of players for this, as it's the last major of the season. I may attempt to make something for the FedEX cup tournaments, some sort of elimination, but it's a work in progress.
