So I've been developing knee problems, mainly I'm getting very sore knee's while walking the course. I play about 3-4 rounds a week with a carry bag, which is basically 11km per round with a 20lb bag on my shoulders.

I have a few questions.

I am thinking of buying a push cart to take some of the strain away from my knees. Anyone know of a good decently priced push cart?

Anyone know anything I can do to help prevent further knee problems?

I tend to walk along the grass rather than on the cement cart path, this is easier on my knees right?

I refuse to ride on a cart, as walking the course is very enjoyable and good exercise. Any other suggestions would really help, stretches, anything because right now I am in so much discomfort golf is becoming difficult.

22, it's mainly the right knee, but the left does get inflamed sometimes

Depends on your price range and what not. I prefer 3 wheelers instead of 2. If you want a 2wheeler you can get one for 30-50

I got this http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/cadie-golf-mountain-trail-push-cart.html because my bag sucked and my shoulder straps were broken/clubs would always fall out even after tightening it so I couldn't carry any more. I really like it as it comes with a break, umbrella stand (although it can twist off if your umbrella weighs a lot), and has a spot for your bottle but the card holder on it is pretty small so it is hard to place your card on it,

I got my dad this for his birthday http://www.amazon.com/Intech-Trac-3-Wheel-Pull-Golf/dp/B000A0IKHA/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1342056589&sr=8-5&keywords=push+cart+golf. It is all right and functions like it is supposed to except I dislike the grips and it tends to go right instead of straight.

Played skins tonight, my knee has become worse, to the point where I can't properly finish my swing properly.

I'm off until Sunday for league play, then I will be away from golf until my knee pains are completely gone, however long it takes.
