The Callaway Octane Driver and a Odyssey White I.C.E Dart blade putter for $140. I think it was a good deal?

Yeah 140$ is decent for that putter/driver.

Not my cup of tea, but a good buy. Do you play often?

I just started a year ago and I bought a prebuilt set just to have for when I play but I got addicted to it. I really wanted to upgrade the set (especially the drive, woods and putter) but didn't want to spend too much right away. I saw this deal earlier on a website and everyone thought it was a really good deal so I bought the driver + putter for that price but just wanted to make sure if it really was that great of a deal.

Were they used clubs?

The Octane driver retails for almost 200$ at a retail store such as golf town. And I know the putter for sure goes for a little over 100$ at retail.

So a good buy for sure, these are Canadian prices which I'm talking though. Either way you should have saved a good hunk of change

Ya they were from the callaway pre-owned store but I made sure to buy them both "like new" which indicated that they might have one scratch on the face at most but other than that they are brand new. I wouldn't have got them if that wasn't the case because I prefer buying new clubs but I just felt that I couldn't pass up on it but thanks a lot for the info.

Yeah, they went for a decent price still even for used, especially if they're in good shape.

Just got them yesterday. Putter was brand new with nothing and the driver looked like it was only used one (because there was a little amount of dirt on it) with no scratches or anything. I went to the range yesterday to test the driver out and it was amazing. I've never hit the drive as far as I was which was really nice

They didn't even clean the dirt off before sending it? Lol

And there's nothing wrong with buying used, my Titleist 910 I got used, the guy used it at the range once and didn't like it lol. Saved 200$ from retail

It could've been from shipping or my eyes are wack but I thought I saw a brownish spot on the head but no biggie.
