Any avid golfers out there? Looking to buy a new set of irons for next season, and just want some opinions. I have swung quite a few, and leaning to Pings. Not sure though.

I have swung many. Taylormade's are nice, but I feel very pompus with them. I really like the ping.

Nice to see some golfers around here.

Nice clubs.

I have no driver, though I plan on guiting the warbird big birtha. About 100 bucks on the callaway referbed site. I like it cuz it is not way too oversized.

Then some Ping irons, and maybe a trusty rusty sand wedge. Then I am complete.

pings are very nice irons, but i would advise you to try out a few sets before you buy if possible

There is a place called "Fiddlers Green" near where I live. Great place. Walk in, pick any club on the market, and practice hit for as long as you want. You could go in there everyday and hit a club if you wanted to. Was planning on spending alot of time there this spring and picking up a set.
