I've had my thread open since November and I play on the super server.

So far I have had 1 person sell gold to me as well as about 2-3 others offer to sell gold

Gold is super hard to come by here and with all the people just starting up on leviatha you're either going to pay a stupid ratio or absolutely nobody will sell
