I'm looking for some kind of software which will monitor my computers hardware and ensure that every thing is working properly. (Including fan, fan speed, heat and any thing else that it can do :D)
You don't have to read this next part, unless you are in for a real long complicated problem which is probably not fixable, but it's why I'm looking for this software.
The Problem:The monitor is stuck in power saving mode. Some times directly at start up, some times after 20+ min of game play and other times after several hours.
What I've tried to fix it:*Changing monitors
*Cleaning out computer+fans etc
*Testing Video Card with another computer / testing a different video card in this computer
*Testing Ram with another computer / testing different ram with this computer
*Reseting CMos
*Taking out Cmos battery
*Going into bios and turning off ASPI resulting in a restart loop of the computer so I turned it back on
The Results:Some times successful. Some times not

Basically some times the computer works and other times it does not.. At first I thought it was the video card, because when I replaced it it ran perfectly smooth. Then, it started power save mode on me again.
So, I plugged the other video card back in and began the extensive testing which I have described above. I've also tried going into BIOS (When the monitor actually works)
To be perfectly clear; The power saving ONLY started on boot up. So, as soon as I booted I could do nothing but hard shut down the computer by holding down power button for 6seconds.
However! After removing the Cmos battery the computer started up right away. Then, in the middle of my computer session the computer just shut off. Went completely black and gave me my new favorite message, "Power Saving Mode"
Basically I'm hoping that once I get into the computer I can install the program, see to it that all the fans are running and temps are okay so I know that I haven't plugged something in incorrectly. I'm a novice when it comes to computers, I know little about them and have never prebuilt one. I just know the basics from trial and error and it is possible that after cleaning out the computer that I have indeed forgotten to plug something in. (Although, it seems unlikely as I believe it would be more obvious if I incorrectly plugged something in?)
I'm just at a loss of what to do!
