Are refurbished computers just as good as new? Just new parts ( some old I'm sure) in an older shell? Just wondering because I found one for what seems to be an incredibly good price. Any opinions? This is a CompUsa btw.....

Yeah that's a pretty decent price - just have to be careful with refurbished because you can never really know if it has problems until you get it and look for yourself - but even if there is, usually getting parts on Newegg is very cheap for good deals.

For 260$ the Processor + OS alone is worth almost that.

Amazing deal minus the fact its emachines.

depends of what you wanna do , if you want to get something way better i would suggest you to save a little bit more money and you can get a computer probably better if you assemble it

The 2.8 is 50$

3.1 is 75 + win7 home prem is like 92$ + shipping = like 200

Summed up they sell computers pretty cheap now a days not really worth building unless your putting over 1.5k into it.

Paid 500 for my rig quad core 3.2 ghz 8 gbs of ram and upping my GFX card for only like 100$ more.
