From my experience, no he doesn't drop much.

And next time please post d2 related questions in Diablo II Discussion and Guides. ;)

He does drop a fair amount of jewelry in my experience. (Rings and Amulets)
Other than that, he really isn't that great. Like the others have said, you'd be better off magic finding another area / boss.
