hey guys, whenever ppl have pics uploaded via tinypic on they're topics, about 80% ( maybe more) of the time i can't see them, the topics just loads and loads / ( which btw, also happens if i try to go to they're website...) photobucket pics for instance are absolutely np...
any ideas why this might be? And how to solve it, its quite annoying..

It's not just you , been alot of topics regarding tinypic uploads loading forever or not loading at all.
I have the same problem and I have no idea how to fix it.

Both load considerably faster, but Imgur is quicker than Imageshack.

It's not about uploading.... There are tons of uploading sites.
The problem is that ALOT of people still use tinypic and have no issues with it , while those who have problems with it cannot see the pictures of those who do not.
I cannot see 95% of pictures all over the forum since everyone uses tinypic , I myself use photobucket without any problems.

These are some things I found.. mainly just people with similar problems. Btw.. what browsers are you using? It seems Firefox may've had some difficulty with tinypic. (2nd link)

i use Chrome, bit have actually tried with Mozilla, internet explorer, opera ( works a tiny bit better, will show me a few other won't, weird huh?), but on none can i see all.
And yes, i use photobucket for my pics, issue is just seeing other user's tinypic pics

If it's a overall issue such as this, it probably has to do with routing/networking of some sort. If (x amount) of people can see images, yet (x amount) of people can't (even if they was to change ip addresses, clear cache/cookies/etc, different browsers), then it's probably a networking issue. It could go either way, ISP to tinypic's servers, or tinypic to your ISP's servers (could be a router on your isp network and or tinypic's network, it's questionable).

It'll clear its way out eventually as I'm sure tinypic knows about it. Bottom line is I wouldn't use tinypic in general, I've used imgur and my own hosting for a long time and they're both solid.
