Hello, I have an iPhone 3G on iOS4. It is very slow and I would love to downgrade to iOS 3.1.3 (I believe it is the last stable iOS 3 version for iPhones). If I am to downgrade, I understand I will lose all my data, contacts, photos, etc. on my phone. So here are my questions:

1- What is the easiest way to downgrade my iPhone 3G from iOS 4 to iOS 3?
2- How can I upload all the photos on my iPhone to my computer?

Thank you very much for the help :)

2- You can upload photos from your iphone to your computer simply by clicking the picture and clicking the lil box icon. Then you should have an option to email the pictures.
Email them to 'your' email account (it'll then prompt you for size) pick whichever size then press 'send'. I do it all the time with mine.

Here's a picture example:

As far as downgrading, I'm unsure.

I have the iPhone 4. I know when I plug in my iPhone to the pc a autoplay pops up and allows me to access stored pics on the device.
Or u can do this thru the iTunes program

As for downgrading I would contact apple they will know the most about something like this

The problem I have is the high amount of pictures on my phone (over 200). Is it possible to save pictures to my computer another way than sending by e-mail one picture at a time? Because that would be painful.

squ1rr7y: would you happen to know if something similar exists for mac? Because I have a mac. And how do you do it with itunes?

I use win7. As for iTunes I try not to use this awful program but in the section of photos there should be a option to "backup" images on device to ur Mac.
Now I've never touched a Mac in my life so I'm not much help there.

I've done this a couple times with my iPhone. Backing up 6gb of pics. Make sure b4 u erase ur pics off the phone that ALL of them were backed up. Ive had instances where the iTunes program omits certain photos. That's why I physically copy the photos off my iPhone using windows autoplay
