I was curious to know which has more population? Ladder or non ladder?

If non ladder has more people i'll go play non if ladder has more ill just play it.. I dun like how it resets though

Ladder has quite a bit more players.
Keep in mind that it is expected to reset in roughly a month.

Maybe it would be better to play around a bit on non ladder and then switch to ladder once it resets

Well, if I play ladder and it resets it my character will become a non ladder anyhow so lol
I see no point in playing non ladder XD

NL is better for PVP

Ladder is better for PVM

There is a pending ladder reset supposedly set for around the end of September.

If you start ladder be prepared to get moved to NL in as little as a month.

eh I like pve more than pvp so i'll have to stick to ladder, though half the people who play PVE

are bots.

Yeah there are many bots.
But if you start at the new ladder there won't be any in the beginning.
So if you can wait until around 28th of september you can enjoy some fun pve/pvm

I feel so useless when I see bots running around wildly... ugh

Yeah, the bots are annoying, but the first 24 hours of the ladder reset is the best gameplay you ever get, barely any bots, and all the GOOD people are actually playing together, which is wicked fun.
