I recently added a gold password to my account (yeah, never had one before) but I keep forgetting to type it in while selling items in Ladder Slasher.
I just want to know if my account somehow will get in trouble if I do this too often and a failed attempt gets logged often enough, or what exactly happens and why does it get logged?

Probably logs the IP address of the failed attempt. I wouldn't worry about this to much.

Perhaps you may end up locked and have to prove you're the real user by contacting njaguar with the email you registered with.

i think your fine. I've never heard of anyone being locked or any of the sort from forgetting to type their gold pw in too many times. I dont think its something you should worry about

This is exactly what I do not want to happen, I know how long that unlocking process can take.

I agree with the other two posts.. aslong as it's your ip being logged and not some different one, nothing will happen.

Ive mistyped mine plenty of times. No issues here. I don't think anything would happen unless there are multiple unsuccessful attempts.

if u jut mess it up one time im sure nothing bad will happen. if u mess up ur gold pw several time in. row maybe youll get locked until its solved.
