hey everyone... yesterday I was xfering some stuff with my friend, all was normal (maybe i have changed the character over 5 times, but i tried not to do it so fast), but then, after some trades with people in jsp, I got realm down

Okay :wallbash:

That usually happens, but the realm down still working now (about eight hours after)

Any ideas of what went wrong?

And any suggestion of what to do (if there is something to do about it)?

I'll appreciate any help, thank you guys :)

If you joined the xfer game quickly.. it could be a temp ban. And the duration of those vary per person. Some could be fairly long..

That would be the usual thing to do, other people might recommend resetting your router but I've heard different results from many different people. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But see if anyone else might be able to give any other suggestions.

Everything seems to point to it though.

okay, thanks a lot, sir!!
I won't be able to reset the router because I'm in a Wi-Fi connection and the internet isn't mine, but I think I can test my patience and wait until the game come back

But I'll also be taking another ideas, in case someone have another suggestion

If you don't have access to the router, then yes, wait, but remember, when you check to see if you are realm down'd by logging in, and you haven't been "unrealmdown'd" (Yeah i made that word up)
Then the ban may sometimes increase. As a matter of habit, whenever you suddenly get disconnected from battle.net and taken to the login screen, wait 5 minutes, and if it takes you to the screen with the "your access has been temporarily restricted from this realm" message, then log off, turn off d2 and wait 15 minutes before checking. There isn't a definitive research behind that, but it's just what works for me, though everyone gets realm down'd once in a while.
