I run D2 on a HP laptop, but it does not use the entire screen (not window mode) it just doesn't use the entire width of the screen, there are black spaces to the sides of the life ball and mana ball

anyone know how i can get the game to run so i get use of the entire screen?


I tried changing resolution to the 800x400, tried running as admin, is it simply just on this certain HP laptop it will never be able to maximize screen usage?

Does your laptop have a large screen? If it is too large, there will be extra, unused space. If this is the case, I don't think it can be changed.

There should be an option in-game under video settings that allows you to play full screen.

Also it should be 800x600 not 800x400 iirc.
