Whenever I burn a DVD, using any program for the most part I get this message when I try and play the DVD.

"a required storage device has been removed your console will now restart"

I am given no options but to hit okay to restart. Any ideas? My X-Box has no internal HDD, only removable memory. In which I have 5gb.

Google says its defective xbox or stop trying to play pirated movies or remove your HDD Blow on it and try again.

But I don't think xbox has a detection for copywrite like PCs do.

There are more trolls and negative users there than I care to deal with, see this post to see what I mean.

It only happens on burned DVDs, 99% of them are my physical backups of DVDs I've purchased.

Does it happening when you want to save something in a game too?

No, all other functions on the X-Box work flawlessly.

If your xbox 360 isnt modded in a way , it shouldnt be possible to play burned dvds on it anyway.

Well, it's not modded. It plays them eventually, one or two hard restarts of the X-Box and it works.

Your xbox will have a problem with the dvds that you burned , since normally it cant read such dvds .

I don't care for your opinion, friend. My old X-Box 360, PS3, PS2 and Blu-Ray Player all play/ed them perfectly. I want a solution to my problem, not users like you dancing around it just to seem helpful.

i got a xbox 360 too and tryed to play them on it . There is no other way to get a solution to this problem . The only way is to mod the xbox .

There is a big difference between xbox and PS3 and PS2 . Maybe your xbox could have a problem with the laser , so you can just send it to Microsoft to check it .

Brand of DVDs? I'd use a Verbatim.
If they are actually self-ripped, you could be doing bad rips.
What program are you using?

Need more infos.

this too , it works with some programs . which one do you use?
