Idk if this is the right area to post this in, but I really need help. My neighbor a few months ago came to my house to chill out and I had left my wifi password on a notecard on the table where we were. He saw this and remembered it. A week later, i notice my internet is slowing way down, because he has an xbox 360 and laptop and i confronted him and asked if he is using my internet. he said yes and too bad for me. How do i change my password for my wifi and when i do will that boot his xbox 360/laptop off of my internet instantly?!

Sorry just make a WEP2

Reset router by pressing the "reset" button on the back of the router, that'll boot him off, then in your web browser, go to 192.168.2.1 (or find the model of your router and google router login for that model), and then go to wifi settings, and change password. Save / exit, reset router again.
Done.

Yes but he has an xbox 360 slim. I know how they remember wifi passwords. I want to make sure it boots him right off

It's pretty simple. A WEP or WPA code will work

adding mac address filtering will also stop him
